“Here’s the pornography I find most offensive: teen pop stars, the beauty myth, devious advertising, and the marketing of lust for war (ironically, disproportionately supported by the Right and the religious) are blatantly pornographic and appealing to the base instincts of their target audience (and financial supporters) while offering considerably less of the “artistic merit” required to avoid the official Porn! classification than huge portions of the sex industry these days. I caution my children about these devious and wicked manipulations making them a target and the thing to be consumed instead of giving them the idea that fulfilling their carnal desires in a healthy and responsible way is going to send them to hell.”

I disagree with a lot of this post, but this part bears repeating.
